Rusty Pony

30x24" Hand-bleached cotton.
A mechanical marvel of its time, requiring only a constant feed of nickles to survive, The Rusty Pony was constructed primarily of repurposed clockbits and machine parts.

Melora

Got a chance to sketch Melora Creager at a Rasputina show at the Troubadour recently. She is a very inspiring performer. I carried the drawing through to a 16x32 bleach portrait on a dark brown cotton ground (left). The ink sketch (right) is approximately 6x12 inches.

Peace Project

My submission for Peace Project at Whole 9 is an exercise in symmetry forcing a extended state of focused concentration. The wars initiated and perpetuated by the private industries which have hijacked the american government fill me with rage, frustration, and despair. A creative output is the only acceptable expression of this destructive energy.

Artists represent the silenced majority - Americans against the war!

Meet Scarlett May Blossom...

I was brought on by Yellow Hat Productions to do backgrounds and some design for a cartoon adaptation of Scarlett May Blossom's diary - Just got the release to put these out on the net. Here are a couple concept sketches from this naughty little girl's natural habitat.

Artificial Nature

When there are cell phone towers disguised as trees, what kind of birds do you think they would attract?
